The Custom Jewelry Making Process

Handmade jewelry is usually carved from wax and then cast in a precious metal. The wax model is destroyed by extreme heat in the casting process. The jewelry designer hand carves each wax model individually, making each ring or pendant as unique as the person receiving it.

The Price of Custom Christian Jewelry

The cost for handmade Christian jewelry depends on the details of the design, what precious metal is used and whether any gemstones are included in your jewelry design. For a simple handmade ring the labor charge to carve, cast and finish begins at $250. The labor charge for a custom made pendant or charm starts at $150.

The price of the precious metal will depend on the type of metal, its weight and current market conditions. Your unique jewelry can be cast in either sterling silver, gold or platinum. Any gemstones used in your design can be provided at a reasonable price. You can also use your own gemstones in the ring, bracelet or pendant design.
